NCEP hosts a weekly peer support group for current program participants every Thursday at 2:00pm to 3:00pm

At NCEP Peer Support Group, we aim to empower and uplift individuals impacted by brain and spinal cord injuries on their journey toward healing, resilience, and reconnection. We are committed to fostering a compassionate community where members find strength, understanding, and shared experiences.


Our Purpose:

  • Community Support: We strive to create a safe and inclusive space where individuals with brain injuries and spinal cord injuries, along with their loved ones, can share their challenges, triumphs, and emotions without judgment.

  • Empowerment Through Knowledge: We are dedicated to providing educational resources, information, and tools that empower our members to navigate the complexities of living with brain and spinal cord injuries. We believe knowledge is a powerful catalyst for resilience.

  • Encouraging Personal Growth: We support personal growth and rehabilitation by encouraging members to set and achieve realistic goals, fostering a sense of accomplishment, and promoting a positive mindset.

  • Advocacy and Awareness: We advocate for the rights and dignity of individuals with brain injuries and spinal cord injuries in our community. Through awareness campaigns, we aim to reduce stigma, increase understanding, and promote inclusivity.

  • Connecting Hearts and Minds: We believe in the transformative power of genuine connections. By fostering meaningful relationships and encouraging open communication, we aim to create a supportive network that connects the hearts and minds of our members.

  • Holistic Well-Being: Recognizing the interconnected nature of physical, emotional, and mental well-being, we promote a holistic approach to recovery, emphasizing the importance of both medical care and emotional support.
